This little drill is the very first thing I have everyone do at my seminars, when they join the gym, or work with me in any way.
It’s about learning how to be TIGHT throughout your entire body. If you don’t, you’ll shock absorb all of that hard-won force you’ve been trying to generate with your legs!
This is especially important on squats, but is also seen in the way your set up for your snatch or clean.
Try this out, and then apply it to your set up position on the snatch, clean, and in every phase of the squat, deadlift, etc.
