Today, the 2 ESSENTIAL LAWS of Safety when it comes to FAILING in the gym — on anything, not just squats and snatches. (STAY TUNED: I’ll be doing more videos on specific techniques for each.)
BE CAREFUL — it’s very easy to listen to these two rules and say, “Ya, I know, dude…” — then end up getting CRUSHED by a heavy weight (injuring yourself) all because you didn’t Actually Practice these rules, over and over again.
The Point: Practice these two rules with LIGHT weights, every day, many times a day, for about 1 week. THEN, you’ll have started to ingrain them, and will be able to miss heavier lifts more safely.
