Let’s get real. You CAN squat every day (heavy), but ONLY if you a non-moron about it — In today’s episode of Weightlifting Academy!
There is a fundamental disconnect between those who think squatting every day will kill you, and those (like me) who think you can do it safely, and that it will be good for you.
This difference is in our definitions of a few key words: “heavy” and “fail”.
- What I mean by “heavy” is that you can only go as heavy as you can with good technique!
- What I mean by “FAIL” is that you dump the bar the instant your technique goes to shit.
I’ll be making a video on how to fail safely on back squats soon, but I want you to take a look at an example of how to make a heavy (hard) lift that is still safe.
