Fix your Snatch Technique & Build Strength at the same time – Try the Terminator Snatch Pull in today’s episode of Weightlifting Academy!
The Terminator Snatch Pull is so named because you want to be as precise and deliberate as a machine. 🙂 The big idea is to PAUSE at each position, fix that position, and not move on until it’s just right.
You can go as heavy as you want, so long as you follow the one rule: don’t fuck it up, LOL
My friend Dan Bell calls these “Halting Deadlifts”, my old mentor Tom Hirtz just called them pulls. Remember that Shakespeare said that “a snatch pull by any other name is still a deadlift…” or something like that. Just focus on the point: fix your position and build the strength required to hit those positions correctly.
I suggest doing them in sets of 1 to 3 reps. If you go for more reps than that, then you probably aren’t focusing hard enough of precision and intensity of movement.
